Job summary

Acuity Care Group is seeking compassionate Support Workers to assist a 56-year-old gentleman living with advanced Huntington's in his own home in Holbeach, Lincolnshire. This role involves 2:1 support within a 24/7 schedule, including PEG feeding, medication administration, suctioning, catheter care, and safe transfers.

You will work with his family and a multidisciplinary team to ensure comfort, dignity and quality of life, supporting daily activities and meaningful engagements in the local

Qualifications

• Experience in caring for individuals with complex clinical needs.
• Ability to support PEG feeding and medication administration.
• Competent in moving and handling procedures, including hoists.
• Experience with continence management and catheter care.
• Experience in home care or community settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal and clinical care as part of a 24/7, 2:1 support package.
• Assist with PEG feeding, medication administration, suctioning, catheter care and safe transfers.
• Monitor health, report deterioration, and support daily routines and activities.
• Work closely with family and multidisciplinary team to maintain dignity and independence.
