Job summary

NurtureCare is seeking a compassionate Complex Care Healthcare Assistant to support a young adult with complex health needs in a home setting in Nottingham NG5.

You will provide round-the-clock care, health monitoring, personal care and safety, working with a small team to ensure high-quality, person-centred support. Full training will be provided and shifts include day and night coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with complex health needs.
• Experience with ventilation, oxygen therapy, suction, PEG feeding, epilepsy care, or medication administration.
• Calm, confident in urgent situations and able to follow care plans.
• Willing to complete client-specific training and competency assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living support and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Monitor health, document observations and report changes to the team.
• Collaborate with family, clinical lead and on‑call nursing team to ensure consistent care.
• Follow detailed care plans and escalation procedures.
