Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a compassionate support worker to assist a gentleman in his 30s with a brain injury at his home in East Preston, West Sussex. You will help with daily living tasks, personal care, and engage in social activities with enthusiasm and respect.

The role offers training, ongoing supervision, and a flexible zero-hours pattern with regular shifts. Your duties may include physiotherapy support and safe transport to local activities, enhancing the client’s quality of life.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and reliable care values are essential.
• Experience working with a client with complex needs is beneficial but not required.
• Willingness to learn and follow care plans and training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide full personal care and daily living support to one client.
• Assist with physiotherapy and hydrotherapy in the home pool.
• Support with overnight clinical tasks as part of a dedicated care team.
