Job summary

Acuity Care Group is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to provide 3:1 support for a gentleman living in his own home in Norfolk. The role requires sensitivity to autism, bipolar disorder, and challenging behaviors, with full training provided and a team-based approach to care.

You will work in a small, stable team, learn his communication cues, and participate in ongoing training and development through the Acuity Academy. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact daily.

Qualifications

• Experience with autism, limited communication, or complex behaviors is helpful but not essential.
• Full UK Driving license - Essential
• Kind, patient, caring, reliable, consistent and confident in your role
• Willing to learn specific communication cues
• Comfortable working within their home
• Able to work as part of a small, stable team.

Responsibilities

• Provide 3:1 support to a gentleman in his own home.
• Learn and respond to his unique communication cues.
• Deliver round-the-clock care in a consistent and understanding team setting.
