Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Home Care Assistant to provide dedicated support to a gentleman with autism, building a trusting relationship, understanding his needs, and helping him live an independent life in his own home. You will maintain a positive, professional relationship with his family, liaise for updates, and work with other service users when needed to promote wellbeing, dignity and person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Kind, compassionate and genuinely passionate about helping others.
• 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK ( sponsorship not available).
• Full UK driving licence.
• No prior care experience required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Supporting people with daily routines, including household tasks and personal care
• Helping with shopping, preparing nutritious meals, and making a comforting cup of tea
• Providing companionship, a listening ear, and friendly conversation
• Helping with medication
