Job summary

Acuity Care Group is seeking a compassionate Male Support Worker in Lincoln to provide 2:1, person-centred care for a non-verbal gentleman with complex needs. You will assist with daily living, emotional wellbeing and behavioural support, promoting independence and choice.

The role requires a full UK driving license and willingness to drive the service user's SUV. Weekly/monthly pay options and fully funded DBS are included, with ongoing Acuity Academy training and benefits.

The following content displays a map of the jobs location - Lincoln

Location: LN2, Lincoln
Rate of Pay: £14.18 per hour (Weekly or Monthly pay available)
Contract: 24 hours per week on shifts either 8:00am - 20:00pm or 20:00pm - 8:00am.

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable and enthusiastic Male Support Worker to join our dedicated team, providing 2:1 support to a male living in Lincoln. The gentleman we support is non-verbal and mobile with some wheelchair support on occasions and has severe learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy and behaviours that can be physically challenging.

You will provide consistent, person-centred support with daily living, emotional wellbeing and behavioural support, while encouraging independence, choice and a positive quality of life. Building a genuine relationship is an important part of this role. He enjoys 4X4 off road cars, Animals, Mr Bean, Arts & Crafts and spending time with his family.

Experience and Skills of a Support Worker:

• Autism and learning/developmental disabilities - Mandatory
• Supporting individuals with behaviours that may be perceived as challenging
• Full UK Automatic Drivers license and be willing to drive the person we supports SUV
