Job summary

The Supply Register Ltd. is partnering with Prospect House Specialist School to appoint a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support children with complex learning needs and help them access learning, build confidence, independence and achieve their potential.

Prospect House is a specialist primary school for children aged 3 to 11 with significant needs, operating in a brand-new setting with specialist facilities.

Qualifications

• We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant with previous experience supporting children or young people with additional needs.
• You will be passionate about making a positive difference and committed to helping every pupil achieve their potential.
• Experience supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or other SEND

Responsibilities

• Supporting children with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEND)
• Assisting with reading, writing, and classroom-based activities
• Supporting pupils' learning and educational development
• Providing one-to-one and small group support where required
• Helping children develop confidence, independence, and social skills
• Supporting pupils with daily routines and activities
• Working closely with teachers and other support staff
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
