Job summary

Empowering Learning is recruiting Complex Needs Teaching Assistants to support pupils with diverse SEND in specialist SEN schools. The role involves close collaboration with teachers to deliver tailored support and promote access to education, with children who may require personal care or alternative communication methods.

Successful candidates will have Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one), provide two professional references, and commit to full-time hours from 8:30

Qualifications

• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new Enhanced DBS check.
• Be able to provide two years of professional references.
• Be available to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm.
• Be able to complete the registration process within 48 hours of applying.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEND in collaboration with teaching staff.
• Support pupils who may require personal care or alternative communication methods.
