Job summary

Severndale Academy invites applications for a Lead Pupil Support Assistant to join the personal support team. The role is 25 hours per week, 9.30am to 2.30pm, term time plus 5 PD days, on a permanent basis.

You will support learners' personal care needs with dignity and compassion, promoting independence and well-being in class. Successful candidates may work at Monkmoor or Futures campuses depending on learner needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care or education settings is desirable.
• Ability to work as part of a team to support learners.
• Strong communication and caring approach.

Responsibilities

• Support learners with personal care needs in a compassionate and dignified manner.
• Assist during lunch and supervise play as part of a small group.
• Adapt to different classrooms and campuses (Monkmoor or Futures) as required.
• Attend training to support learners with varying eating and drinking needs.
