Job summary

Tyntesfield Medical Group in North Somerset is seeking an enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our caring team. The role covers wound management, travel and childhood immunisations, phlebotomy and minor injury care, with an emphasis on high-quality patient care.

You will work within a friendly, collaborative team, maintain accurate documentation in our Practice Computer system, and support infection control, safety policies and stock management.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current NMC registration.
• Recognised practice nursing or primary care qualification.
• Minimum 2 years post-registration experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of routine practice nursing services.
• Health screening as required by the Practice.
• Delivery of minor injuries services within scope of own experience.
• Venepuncture and collection and processing of pathology samples.
• Monitoring stock levels and ordering of clinical supplies.
• Wound care and dressings as trained.
