Job summary

Continuity of Care Services Ltd. is seeking a Personal Support Worker to join our friendly team. The role focuses on person-centred support for a young woman with autism, learning disabilities, epilepsy, and complex communication needs, including sensitivities and anxiety.

You will help her engage in everyday activities and community life. The ideal candidate will build trusting relationships, communicate thoughtfully, and use a calm, reassuring approach.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in community support or social services.
• Experience with people with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Epilepsy.
• Experience with specific communication needs related to Autism.
• Full UK driving licence with access to your own car and business insurance is essential.
• Eligible to work in the UK; sponsorship is not offered.

Responsibilities

• Provide calm, person-centred support to the client in daily activities.
• Support access to the wider community and promote independence.
• Transport the client in your own vehicle and drive safely.
• Build trust by listening and responding with kindness to sensitivities.
