Job summary

Pembrokeshire Direct Payments is seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to support a client in Crymych to live independently at home. The role includes personal care, domestic support, meal preparation, laundry and helping the client stay connected with their local community.

You will accompany the employer to appointments and activities, assist with shopping and light administration, and respond flexibly to needs during scheduled hours, while upholding safeguarding and confidentiality at all

Responsibilities

• Providing for the personal care needs of the employer such as support to wash and dress, plan what to wear
• Supporting with laundry and other light housework
• Supporting with food organisation, meals and cooking
• Ensuring the home environment is clean, safe and warm
• Support with the wood for the wood burning boiler
• Supporting with household admin
• Enabling the employer to interact socially in their community
• Support to the employer whilst shopping and attending activities of interest
• Supporting the employer to attend appointments
• Ensuring the employer’s safety at all times during your working hours
• To carry out any other reasonable tasks that are requested by the employer during your working hours
• Be mindful of safeguarding issues, and feedback any concerns to the relevant authority
