Job summary

Health Transportation Group UK Ltd is seeking an Ambulance Care Assistant in Bournemouth. You will provide safe, reliable and compassionate transport for vulnerable patients, supporting NHS contracts with a patient-centred approach.

The role requires empathy, resilience and a commitment to safeguarding. You will work a 37.5-hour week across a rota including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays, with full training and ongoing support offered.

Qualifications

• Fully flexible to work shifts on any day of the week, including weekends.
• Be caring and compassionate with patients.
• Maintain good physical fitness for moving and handling patients.
• Communicate clearly and kindly in person and in writing.
• Follow procedures and protect patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Patient transport & care: safely drive patients to appointments and provide comfort.
• Assist with mobility: help with transfers and use of equipment.
• Communication & compassion: engage with patients, families and staff with dignity and respect.
• Vehicle checks & admin: perform daily checks and document journeys and incidents.
