Health Transportation Group UK Ltd in Ipswich is seeking Ambulance Care Assistants to deliver safe, compassionate non-emergency transport for NHS patients. ACA roles go beyond driving, providing support with dignity and comfort throughout each journey.

Shifts include early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends on a 37.5 hour weekly rota. Part-time and zero-hour contracts are welcome. We offer market-leading pay (£13/hour) with overtime, training, and safeguarding commitments.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check on onboarding.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Full UK manual driving licence required.
• Satisfactory employment and character references.
• Satisfactory medical assessment.
• Two-week mandatory training on commencement.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive patients to and from healthcare appointments while providing reassurance and compassionate care throughout their journey.
• Assist with mobility needs, including safe lifting and transfers.
• Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families and staff, maintaining dignity and confidentiality.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and keep equipment clean and ready per infection control procedures.
