Job summary

UKCIL Ltd in Morpeth is seeking two experienced Personal Assistants to provide 2:1 support for a lovely 5-year-old boy with complex needs associated with Autism. The child is non-verbal and requires constant supervision as he has no danger awareness. Support will include basic care, communication support, emotional regulation and promoting safety and wellbeing.

Hours are 5 hours per week, delivered as 2:1 support. Rate of pay: £14.67 per hour. DBS check and references required.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting children with Autism and complex behaviours.
• A caring, calm, patient, and nurturing approach.
• Understanding of safeguarding and safe support practices.
• Ability to support communication, emotional regulation, and sensory needs.
• Driver with own vehicle.
