Job summary

UKCIL Ltd in Morpeth is seeking two experienced Personal Assistants to provide 2:1 support for a lovely 5-year-old boy with complex needs associated with Autism. The child is non-verbal and requires constant supervision as he has no danger awareness. Support will include basic care, communication support, emotional regulation and promoting safety and wellbeing.

Hours are 5 hours per week, delivered as 2:1 support. Rate of pay: £14.67 per hour. DBS check and references required.

Two experienced Personal Assistants for a 5 year old boy in Morpeth £14.67 p/h

We are looking to recruit two experienced Personal Assistants to provide 2:1 support for a lovely 5-year-old boy with complex needs associated with Autism. This is a rewarding role for someone who is caring, patient, nurturing and confident supporting a child with sensory sensitivities, communication needs, and complex behaviours. The child is non-verbal and requires constant supervision as he has no danger awareness. Support will include all aspects of basic care, including washing, dressing, eating, toileting, bathing, brushing teeth, wiping his face, communication support, and emotional regulation. The role will also involve supporting social and leisure activities, meal preparation and always promoting safety and wellbeing.

Experience of working with children or young people with Autism and complex behaviours is essential.

Hours and Pay

Hours: 5 hours per week, delivered as 2:1 support. Rate of pay: £14.67 per hour.
