Job summary

PA Database is advertising a part-time Personal Assistant role in the HU5 area to support an 11-year-old boy with Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Delay, ADHD and Autism. The PA will supervise and accompany Richard on activities, ensuring safety and using Makaton where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with Makaton is preferred.
• Ability to supervise a child with additional needs and ADHD/Autism.
• Driver with access to a vehicle preferred; mileage covered by employer.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal assistance to 11-year-old Richard in the HU5 area.
• Support daily activities including outings and play; accompany on drives, walks, swimming, gaming and bowling as appropriate.
• Ensure safety and implement measures due to Richard's developmental needs and peanut allergy; handle EpiPen awareness.
