Job summary

Cornerstone Community Care in Westhill is seeking a Personal Assistant/Befriender to support a cheerful 10-year-old boy with Prader-Willi Syndrome and autism. You will help him engage in colouring, TV, puzzles and other activities within a calm, structured routine.

The role is 4 hours per week at £13.92 per hour. Training will be provided; membership of the PVG Scheme is required; mileage for outings is included and a vehicle is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children with additional needs is essential.

Responsibilities

• Build a positive, trusting relationship with the child and support him to access activities safely in the community.
• Support a calm, structured routine with regular rest periods.
