Job summary

Choices and Rights Disability Coalition is seeking a Personal Assistant to support an active 11-year-old boy in the HU9 area. The role is 4 hours each Saturday with interview discussions possible. The PA should be patient, kind and capable of building a trusting relationship to help him enjoy outdoor activities and outings.

Experience with autism, ADHD or challenging behaviour is advantageous. A satisfactory DBS check will be required, with costs met by the employer.

Qualifications

• Experience with autism, ADHD and challenging behaviour advantageous.
• Ability to develop and build a trusting relationship with the child.
• Patient, kind and confident handling any situation during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support an active 11-year-old boy for 4 hours every Saturday in the HU9 area.
• Encourage outdoor activities and safe social interactions.
• Assist with activities at home and during outings as appropriate.
