Job summary

Real Life Options is looking for a Waking Night Support Worker in Fraserburgh to provide overnight care, reassurance, safety and support to individuals in their own homes. This part-time role runs 21:45 to 07:30, four nights per week (37 hours total).

You will work independently at night, with training and a clear career pathway. A PVG check is required; prior care experience isn’t essential. Benefits include paid holiday, funded training, pension and more.

Qualifications

• PVG check required under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.

Responsibilities

• Providing overnight support and personal care where required.
• Monitoring wellbeing and maintaining a safe, calm night environment.
• Administering medication in line with support plans.
• Completing regular checks and accurate record-keeping.
• Responding to needs and emergencies with confidence and care.
• Supporting individuals to maintain independence and dignity.
