Job summary
Medicare People Limited in Cranleigh is seeking a dedicated Live-in Carer to support clients in their own homes, promoting independence, dignity and choice. You will provide person-centred care, companionship, personal care, meal support, medication administration and light household tasks, working with families and healthcare professionals to deliver consistent, high-quality care.
We offer flexible placements from 4 days to 8 weeks, free accommodation during placement, a Blue Light Card,
Qualifications
- Previous professional care experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a client's home.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Medication administration experience desirable.
Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care within clients' homes.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
- Support mobility and safe moving and handling.
- Prepare meals and encourage nutrition and hydration.
- Administer medication as per care plans.
- Assist with light household duties and laundry.
- Run errands such as shopping and prescriptions.
- Monitor wellbeing and report concerns to the care team.
- Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals.
- Keep accurate and detailed care records.
