Job summary

Medicare People is seeking warm, professional Live-in Carers for Redhill. You will provide one-to-one care, companionship, and essential support in clients’ homes, helping them stay independent and safe.

Flexible placements from 4 days to 8 weeks, with ongoing support from a care management team. Free accommodation, meals budget, and competitive earnings are included, plus enhanced bank holiday rates and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience providing care or support to others.
• Compassionate and patient nature.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Reliability, professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Experience working independently.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience with medication support is desirable.
• Previous live-in care experience welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality live-in care within clients' homes.
• Build trusting relationships with clients.
• Support personal care and grooming routines.
• Assist with mobility and moving around the home.
• Prepare meals and drinks throughout the day.
• Provide companionship and reassurance.
• Administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help keep the home clean, safe and comfortable.
• Support with shopping and collecting prescriptions.
• Monitor health and wellbeing.
• Maintain clear and accurate care notes.
• Work as part of a wider care team.
