Job summary
Medicare People is seeking a compassionate Live-in Carer in Caterham to support clients who wish to remain independent in their own homes. The role involves personal care, companionship, meal preparation, and helping with daily routines, with ongoing guidance from our care managers.

Qualifications
- Experience in UK care or similar settings.
- Patience, compassion and reliability in care delivery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with initiative.
- Right to work in the UK and eligible for UK care roles.
- Medication administration experience is welcomed.
- Health & Social Care qualifications can be beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Support clients to remain independent in their own homes.
- Provide person-centred care tailored to individual needs.
- Assist with washing, dressing and personal care.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Help with mobility and daily routines.
- Prepare meals and encourage hydration.
- Administer medication safely and accurately.
- Support with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
- Complete shopping and other essential errands.
- Monitor wellbeing and report any concerns.
- Keep accurate care records.
- Work closely with families and healthcare professionals.
