Job summary

HC-One Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Chef to join our kitchen team in the UK. You will assist the First Chef, follow recipes precisely and prepare nutritious meals for residents with care and kindness.

You should hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate with good HACCP knowledge, be well organised and able to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• Requires Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and good understanding of HACCP principles.
• Must be reliable, well organised and able to follow recipes precisely.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills are essential to work with residents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assist the First Chef and step in when they are absent.
• Prepare nutritious, appetising meals suitable for residents.
• Monitor food stock, portion control and budget to minimise waste.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene, safety standards and cleaning schedules.
