Job summary

HC-One is seeking an Assistant Chef with a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and solid HACCP knowledge to join our care-focused kitchen.

You will cook nutritious meals, support the First Chef, manage stock and assist with budgeting, while mentoring colleagues and upholding resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is required.
• Good understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP).
• Brilliant, positive energy and ability to get along with people.
• Organised and able to meet deadlines, present food attractively, follow recipes.

Responsibilities

• Cook and serve nutritious, healthy meals for Residents.
• Provide outstanding support to the First Chef in their absence.
• Manage food stock and assist with budget planning.
• Coach a colleague and supervise kitchen clean-up to protect resident wellbeing.
