TLC Care is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for our care home. You will assist in preparing, cooking and serving meals, helping prepare vegetables, beverages and trolleys for residents, and support plating and puree preparation while upholding top cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a kitchen.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Interest in working in a care environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation, cooking and serving of meals and drinks.
• Prepare vegetables and beverages for residents.
• Prepare food trolleys for meals.
• Support plating of meals when needed.
• Assist with puree food preparation.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
