Job summary

Careline Lifestyles is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our team in Bearpark. You will help prepare, cook and serve meals, supporting dietary needs and maintaining high hygiene standards to provide a warm dining experience for residents.

The role is permanent and on-site. A Level 2 Food Safety certificate and good communication and teamwork skills are required, with prior kitchen experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Food Safety / Hygiene Certificate is required.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen environment is preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation, cooking and serving of meals to a high standard.
• Support with menu planning and ensuring meals meet dietary needs and preferences.
• Wash up and keep kitchen clean and hygienic.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Attend mandatory training sessions.
