Job summary

Prime Life in Market Harborough is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to prepare meals and support residents with a dignified dining experience. The role involves following dietary requirements, quality checks and stock management in a compassionate care environment.

Ideal candidates have a caring nature; Food Hygiene or Catering qualification is preferred but training will be provided. DBS clearance is funded, with opportunities for progression and benefits across the care village.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Cook; Food Hygiene or Catering qualification preferred but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals, snacks and beverages in line with residents' dietary requirements.
• Undertake quality checks on food prepared and stored.
• Assist with food service to provide a dignified dining experience for residents.
• Maintain stock records in line with policy and food safety regulations.
• Order stock and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain a hygienic and tidy kitchen, including deep cleaning tasks.
