Job summary

Empowering U Healthcare in Lichfield is seeking caring Support Workers for a part-time bank role supporting a female client with MS and mental health needs. You will provide personal care, mobility support, medication administration, and companionship in the client’s home.

A full UK driving licence is essential. Training is provided, and there are flexible hours, with competitive pay between £12.71 and £14.29 per hour depending on shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months UK care experience.
• Experience with complex physical needs or neurological conditions is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS, or willingness to obtain one.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic IT skills for electronic care records.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, mobility, and catheter care.
• Administer medication according to care plan.
• Support daily living activities, meal prep, and errands.
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Maintain accurate care records and communicate with the team.
• Drive the client to appointments and activities.
• Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing.
