Job summary

Empowering U Healthcare in Stourbridge (DY8) is seeking Healthcare Support Workers to deliver compassionate, person-centred care to a young woman in her home and community. Roles include medication administration, mobility support, and driving to appointments, with a focus on independence and safety.

The role requires 6 months of care experience, plus English proficiency and reliability. A driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months' experience in a care role (essential).
• Experience supporting people with complex health needs, epilepsy, PEG feeding, or enteral feeding (desirable).
• Good verbal and written English.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Administering medication safely and accurately.
• Providing enteral feeding via jejunostomy and gastrostomy tubes, including nutrition, hydration, and medication administration.
• Carrying out oral suctioning when required.
• Supporting bowel management, including the administration of prescribed suppositories and enemas.
• Supporting the client to attend appointments and access the community, including driving where required.
