Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join a female client in her own home near Mold. You’ll provide personal care, medication assistance, moving and handling, and accompany her to appointments and activities.

You must have a driver’s license (automatic) and NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care. The role offers a zero-hours contract, weekend/bank holiday flexibility, paid holidays, training, and pension.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care
• Driver with automatic licence
• Flexible to work weekends and bank holidays

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and administer medication as required
• Move and handle client safely
• Carry out domestic duties in the home
• Drive client to appointments, shopping trips, and social activities
• Assist with sociable activities and outings
• Be comfortable around pets (two dogs)
