Job summary

ICare Group in the L21 area is seeking Home Care Assistants to support people in their own homes. Flexible hours available, with shifts from 7am–10pm, Monday to Sunday. Driver applicants welcome. Training and full induction provided, with progression opportunities.

You will help with personal care, meal preparation and daily routines, while maintaining dignity and wellbeing. A welcoming bonus and mileage benefits are offered to attract caring, reliable individuals.

Qualifications

• Be able to work within the L21 area.
• Be willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
• Have a caring, compassionate and reliable approach.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion.
• Supporting with washing, dressing and daily routines.
• Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans.
• Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks.
• Supporting with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment.
• Offering companionship and emotional support.
• Building positive and professional relationships with the people you support.
• Promoting independence, choice and person-centred care.
