Job summary

Empowering U Healthcare is seeking HealthCare Assistants to support a male adult with cerebral palsy in Lincoln LN4. Roles include night shifts (8:30 PM–8:00 AM) with pay between £12.71 and £14.29 per hour. The team provides nurse-led, face-to-face training and opportunities for NVQ progression in a friendly, supportive environment.

We offer full-time, part-time and bank positions. Applicants must have 6+ months care experience, a driving licence (preferred), enhanced DBS, and good English

Qualifications

6+ months care experience (essential).
Knowledge of epilepsy & challenging behaviour (preferred).
Strong verbal and written English skills.

Responsibilities

Moving & handling and repositioning
Personal care and daily living support
Meal preparation and light housekeeping
Community access (client has a wheelchair-accessible vehicle – drivers essential)
Companionship and emotional support
Deliver compassionate, person-centred care in line with care plans
Assist with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily activities
Promote independence, dignity, and emotional wellbeing
Maintain accurate care documentation
Build trusting relationships with clients and families
Follow all health & safety regulations and company policies
