Job summary

CCH in Lincoln is looking for a compassionate care assistant to support a 54-year-old gentleman with cerebral palsy at his home. He attends a day centre on weekdays, and you will assist with his evening and night-time routine to help him stay comfortable and independent.

Shifts include day, evening and occasional weekend work with community activities; full nurse-led training provided, no prior care experience required, and driving licence is essential for travel between locations.

Qualifications

• No care experience required; nurse-led training provided.
• Background in caring for clients with cerebral palsy or medication handling is advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence is essential for the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with showering.
• Assist with moving and handling and meal preparation.
• Administer prescribed medications and manage evening/night routines.
• Support weekends with outings and community activities.
• Help maintain safety and comfort in the client’s home.
