Job summary

Nouveaucare is seeking a Care Assistant to support adults with learning disabilities in Market Harborough, Leicestershire. You will assist with daily living, personal care, and promote independence within our new supported living services.

This role offers 39 hours per week at £12.96 per hour, with permanent contracts and flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends and sleep-ins. Paid training, opportunities for qualifications, and a friendly team environment accompany career progression

Qualifications

• Experience in care or supported living is advantageous but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards) beneficial.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.

Responsibilities

• Personal care and daily living support.
• Promoting independence and building life skills.
• Driving service users to appointments and activities.
• Meal preparation and household tasks.
• Maintaining accurate records and following care plans.
• Upholding safeguarding, health and safety, and organisational policies.
