Job summary

Pulse Nursing at Home in Bury is seeking caring healthcare assistants to support a 45-year-old male client with learning disabilities and a minor brain injury in his own home. On shift you will provide companionship, assist with community activities, and prompt medications while encouraging independence.

Role requires 6 months care experience within the last 2 years, experience with learning disabilities and substance abuse, and a compassionate, professional approach.

Qualifications

• 6 months care experience within the last 2 years (UK based).
• Experience with learning disabilities and substance abuse.
• Comfortable working in a 2:1 setting.
• Willing to learn new skills and undertake care training.
• Ability to provide high-quality care with compassion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship in the client’s home and in the community.
• Encourage independence and prompt medications as required.
• Support socialisation and participation in activities.
• Deliver care with compassion and professionalism.
