Job summary

Pulse Nursing at Home is looking for a Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker to provide high‑quality, person‑centred care to clients in their own homes across England. You will assist with personal care, moving and handling, and support with clinical interventions, while enriching daily life through community activities.

The role requires a minimum of 6 months care experience, familiarity with learning disabilities, the ability to work in a 2:1 setting, and a willingness to learn.

• Comfortable working in a 2:1 setting
• Willing to learn new skills and undertake care training

As a healthcare assistant/support worker, you will be providing high quality, person-centered care to our clients in the comfort of their own home. On shift, you will be expected to provide personal care, assist with moving and handling and support with any clinical interventions specific to our client. Alongside, you will be expected to enrich their quality of life via community interaction and support in achieving their goals/aspirations.

About the role

In this role, you will be supporting our 45‑year‑old male client within his own home, who is living with learning disabilties and a minor brain injury. On shift you will be providing companionship out in the community and at home, encouraging his independence and prompting of medications.

We are looking for team members who will enrich his life through the encouragement of being out in the community and socialisation.

Role Requirements
