Pulse Nursing at Home is seeking a Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker in Burnley to deliver bespoke homecare to clients with complex needs. On shift you will provide personal care, assist with moving and handling, and support clinical interventions in a 2:1 setting.

You will also enhance quality of life through community activities and companionship. The role requires 6 months of care experience within the last 2 years (UK based), plus a compassionate, professional, team-oriented approach.

Competenze

• 6 months care experience within the last 2 years (UK based).
• Experience with learning disabilities and substance use scenarios is preferred.
• Able to work in a 2:1 care setting with empathy and discretion.
• Willing to learn new skills and undertake care training.

Healthcare Assistant Support Worker - Burnley

Burnley

Shifts/working hours: 10 hour days

Pay rates: £14.42 per hour (including holiday pay)

Our healthcare assistants/support workers deliver highly bespoke care shaped around the individual needs, goals and aspirations.

As a healthcare assistant/support worker, you will be providing high quality, person-centered care to our clients in the comfort of their own home. On shift, you will be expected to provide personal care, assist with moving and handling and support with any clinical interventions specific to our client. Alongside, you will be expected to enrich their quality of life via community interaction and support in achieving their goals/aspirations.

About the role

In this role, you will be supporting our 45-year-old male client within his own home, who is living with learning disabilities and a minor brain injury. On shift you will be providing companionship out in the community and at home, encouraging his independence and prompting of medications.

We are looking for team members who will enrich his life through the encouragement of being out in the community and socialisation.

Role Requirements

• 6 months care experience within the 2 years (UK based)
• Have experience with learning disabilties and substance abuse
• Comfortable working in a 2:1 setting
• Willing to learn new skills and undertake care training
• Ability to provide high-quality care with compassion and professionalism
