Job summary

Skycare in London is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant for a full-time position. The role involves supporting residents with daily living tasks, providing companionship, and assisting nursing staff in care routines within a modern nursing home environment.

Applicants should have at least 6 months in care, the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship), good English, and basic IT skills. Shifts include day, night, and flexible options with DBS and references required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in a care role.
• Ability to work at least 33 hours per week.
• Good level of English.
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
• Ability to use basic IT tools.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living tasks including washing, dressing, eating, and mobility.
• Provide companionship, reassurance, and emotional support.
• Assist nursing staff with care routines and monitoring residents' wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate records and follow individual care plans.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-focused workplace.
