Job summary

Wye Valley NHS Trust is seeking Health Care Support Workers to join our Nursing teams. Full-time and part-time roles are available, with flexible working opportunities.

Prior care experience is welcome, but not required; visa sponsorship is not provided and eligibility to work in the UK is required. You will assist with patient care, support daily activities, and work closely with staff to ensure high-quality care for patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Experience in caring for others is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to undertake Maths and English Functional Skills qualifications if not already obtained.
• Diploma level 2/3 in Health & Social Care, and progression toward Apprenticeship levels 2/3.

Responsibilities

• Wash and dress patients.
• Serve meals and assist with feeding.
• Help patients to move around.
• Talk to patients and their families.
