Job summary

CrossReach is hiring a dedicated Care Worker to support older people in a care home setting in the United Kingdom. You will provide personal care, assist with daily living tasks, meals, and social activities, and help residents maintain independence with dignity and respect.

We value compassionate, reliable individuals who work well in a team. PVG clearance and SSSC registration are required, with SVQ Level 3 being desirable. Training and induction are provided to help you grow in your role.

Qualifications

• Caring, reliable and committed to supporting older people.
• Membership of PVG Scheme and registration with SSSC.
• Willingness to work towards SVQ Level 3 if not held.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care and daily living activities
• Assist with meals and encourage good nutrition and hydration
• Promote independence, choice and wellbeing
• Encourage participation in activities and social opportunities
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues
• Provide companionship, reassurance and emotional support
• Maintain accurate records and follow care procedures and best practice
