Job summary

CrossReach is seeking a dedicated Care Worker to support older residents in our care home, helping them live safely, independently and with dignity. The role emphasizes practical support, companionship and promoting wellbeing within a compassionate team.

You will assist with daily living tasks, participate in activities, and maintain records while upholding CrossReach's values and standards. A PVG check and SSSC registration are required or in progress, with a strong commitment to inclusive care.

Qualifications

• You will be caring, reliable and committed to supporting older people to live well.
• Experience in care is welcome but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the role is important.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care and daily living activities
• Assist with meals and encourage good nutrition and hydration
• Promote independence, choice and wellbeing
• Encourage participation in activities and social opportunities
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues
