Job summary

CrossReach is recruiting a Care Worker to support older people in living with dignity, independence and comfort. You will help with daily routines, personal care, meals and companionship, working to empower residents and families.

Training and development are provided to help you grow in the role and meet practical care standards. The role requires commitment to our Christian ethos and PVG/SSSC registration.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare.
• PVG Scheme membership.
• Registration with the SSSC.
• Willingness to work towards an SVQ.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care and day-to-day living.
• Assist with meals and promote nutrition and hydration.
• Encourage independence and individual choice.
• Help residents stay active and engaged in daily life.
• Build positive relationships with residents and their families.
• Work as part of a team to deliver person-centred care.
• Maintain accurate records and follow care procedures.
