Job summary

CrossReach Trading Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Care Worker to support older residents in daily living, personal care and wellbeing. You will help with meals, promote hydration and encourage activity while upholding dignity, respect and compassion.

Experience in care is welcome but not essential. You will strive to learn, join a team, and progress toward SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare. PVG checks and SSSC registration are required.

Qualifications

• Beneficial to have experience in care but not required.
• SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare is required or willing to work towards it.
• Membership of the PVG Scheme and registration with the SSSC are required.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care and day-to-day living
• Assist with meals and promote nutrition and hydration
• Encourage independence and individual choice
• Help residents stay active and engaged in daily life
• Build positive relationships with residents and their families
• Work as part of a team to deliver person-centred care
• Maintain accurate records and follow care procedures
