Job summary

St Martin's C of E Primary School in Cranbrook, England invites two Teaching Assistant positions to join Early Years and KS1 teams. You will support learning in class and small groups, working 30 hours per week across 39 weeks per year.

Qualifications

Experience working with or caring for children of a relevant age.
Knowledge of safeguarding practice and strategies to remove barriers to learning.
Strong communication skills, including confidence and fluency in spoken English.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to relate well to both children and adults.

Responsibilities

Supporting pupils’ welfare and personal care, including those with SEND
Implementing literacy and numeracy interventions
Assisting with planning cycles and preparing learning resources
Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging pupil independence
You will also assist with supervision during break/lunchtimes and accompany pupils on trips when required.
