Job summary

Nellsar is recruiting a Dining Assistant for The Old Downs Residential Care Home in Dartford, Kent. You will help residents at mealtimes and ensure a high-quality, comfortable dining experience.

Contracted hours are 30 per week with every other weekend off, at an hourly rate of £13, plus enhanced DBS paid by the company and a comprehensive induction with funded qualifications. You will join a supportive team and have access to pension, refer-a-friend scheme, 5.6 weeks annual leave and uniforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meals for residents under the direction of the Catering Team.
• Assist in preparation and serving of meals in a timely manner.
• Liaise with care staff, residents and visitors in a polite, person-centred way.
• Help maintain high standards of food preparation in line with Food Safety Act 1990.
