Job summary

Nellsar is hiring a Dining Assistant at Woodstock Care Home in Sittingbourne. You will help residents during meals and contribute to a high-quality, comfortable dining experience, working as part of a supportive team.

The role includes meal support, liaising with staff and visitors, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Ongoing training and progression opportunities are provided within the company.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meals for residents under the direction of the Catering Team.
• Assist in preparation and serving of all meals in a timely manner.
• Liaise with care staff, residents and visitors in a polite, person-centred way.
• Work with the Catering Team to maintain high food standards and comply with the Food Safety Act 1990.
• Prepare a refreshments trolley and offer it to residents and guests throughout the day.
• Maintain the hydration station and ensure it is well stocked.
• Prepare the tea trolley and support residents during tea rounds.
