Nellsar is recruiting a Dining Assistant for Meyer House Care Home in Erith to support residents at mealtimes and provide a high-quality dining experience. The role is 16 hours on Saturdays and Sundays on a rota, with an hourly rate of £13.00 and on‑going training and development.

You will be part of a supportive team, helping with meals, ensuring food safety, refreshments, and hydration for residents while maintaining a compassionate, person-centred approach to care.

Qualifikationen

• Enthusiastic and motivated to assist residents at mealtimes.
• Caring and compassionate, respecting dignity and privacy.
• Willing to undergo training and development with opportunities for progression.

Aufgaben

• Assist with meals for residents under the Catering Team.
• Prepare and serve meals in a timely manner.
• Liaise with care staff, residents and visitors politely and person-centred.
• Ensure high standard of food preparation in line with Food Safety Act 1990.
• Prepare refreshments trolley and hydrate residents throughout the day.
• Maintain hydration station and keep it stocked.
• Support tea rounds for residents.
