Job summary

Nellsar is seeking a friendly Dining Assistant at Woodstock Care Home in Sittingbourne, Kent. This 35-hour-per-week role runs 7:30am–3:00pm with an hourly rate of £13, and involves assisting residents at mealtimes and ensuring a high-quality dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Catering Team to assist with meals for the residents.
• Assisting in preparation and serving of all meals, in a timely manner.
• Liaising with care staff, residents, and visitors in a polite and person-centred way.
• Ensuring a high standard of food preparation as set out by the Food Safety Act 1990.
