Job summary

Amber Gateway is seeking a Day Services Support Worker in Scunthorpe to join our modern day services facility. The role offers a permanent, full-time contract with a starting hourly rate of £12.80 to £12.95, plus a joining bonus after probation. You will support adults with learning disabilities and autism in a person-centred environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with adults with learning disabilities or autism.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills through induction and training.
• Proactive, empathetic and able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support young adults and adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
• Provide high standards of care in line with care plans and policies.
• Identify needs, provide personal care and promote community activities.
• Maintain accurate records and work as part of a supportive team.
• Contribute to a positive, compassionate service user experience.
